can learn from a Certified Consultant for Business Retention and Expansion
how to implement a business retention and expansion project for tourism,
health care, retail, service or other industry clusters specific to your respective
area. The Ohio Business Retention and Expansion Initiative will serve
to help you create the long-term goal of stabilizing and managing the growth
of the local economy while preserving and improving the quality of life in
the community. The strategy is to build a database of information that
identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the local economy and can be used
to make informed economic development decisions for optimal impact across
all sectors and segments. The outcomes will be job retention and growth,
an improved business climate and the creation of a factual base for attraction
and community marketing. |
