Extension is an academic department within the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at The Ohio State University. In partnership with the USDA Federal Extension System, the State of Ohio, and the counties of Ohio, this educational network helps people improve their lives using scientific knowledge focused on identified issues and needs.
Extension Community Development is one of four program areas in the department, and focuses upon enhancing community capacity. As District Specialist, specific objectives are to:
